Choosing the right date for my wedding day

Yes, I know that this is one of the most important steps that you need to considered on. Picking a date to get married can never be easy. It must be a date that allows all of our friends and family members make themselves available on that day to celebrate our special day.

Some of you may prefer to choose a date that is meaningful to you and your loved ones such as the first day you guys met, or maybe choosing a different day, so that your special day will be special and remarkable. Anyway, its all your choice.
Anyway, here's some tips on how me and my hubby decide our special wedding date (12th July 2009)... :)

1) List out dates that are meaningful to us (me and my hubby), such as our Risik Day, the day we coupled, our engagement day and so on... :)
2) Next, we narrowed down by eliminating dates that falls on week days
2) The remain dates, we convert them to hijrah date using converter @ Islam.com
3) Do some research in understanding bulan-bulan islam. Antara bulan² yang dirahmati seperti, Rejab, Syaaban, Rabiulakhir...
4) Select at least 3 best dates
5) Stick to these dates and discuss with the parents. Only make date changes if we can't book the venues we want for our reception/ceremony.

Hmm...thats all i guess... hope it helps!! :)

Marrying the man of my dreams, Razi...

Its been 1 year we've known each other..finally we decided to get married. Why? It's because we're so READY!!! :) And Alhamdullilah, Thank God, everything went smoothly and perfecto' as planned on that sunday of 12th July 2009. Im so happy and grateful to have a cool, understanding husband who loves me deeply. We're sharing same hobbies, same passion, thoughts and beliefs. Owh, How great!!! :)

Well, yeah honestly, initially we're not really sure if our parents are ready for this big decision...hehe...but we took chances. The main reason why Razi decided to talk about this on a more serious note is that he is getting busy with his job as a nuclear pharmacist. He's getting tight with his shift schedule which happened to be almost everyday even on our "Special" day (etc, birthday, anniversary, ), he was also selected by the hospital he's working to go for the nuclear training in Australia last year. Well, sometimes I did getting annoyed with his buziness even if I know its for his future career...Anyway, it was really a tough time, and we're almost giving up on this relationship until one day he decided to set a date for our wedding and prepare for it for real, just to have all of our time with each other.

He started it by telling it to his parents. The first reaction of course was like "Serius ker nie?", and then the first question was "Bila?". We havent talked about the exact date yet at that time, but we are choosing from June or October this year.

And then I told my parents about it too, same reactions and questions as well. Hehe.. Few days later, it started with parent to parent talk. It was so scary, and at the same time I cant stop thinking whether I am ready to settle down and be someones' wife. Definitely, there will be No more "manja² with my parent, and no more shouting² at my brothers. It's just about time to let go the 'babyish side of me... :P

Well, let stop talking about that and love thingy. I would like to take a chance here to say a "BIG THANK YOU" to my bosses (En Affandi, Hj Zahari abu Bakar, En Aznir, En Meer Khan) who come all over from Kuala Lumpur to Pahang just to attend my wedding. That was a BIG suprised, guys!!! Thanks to my MEPS collegues, Fizal, Wan, DYNAFRONT collegues, waverly, kar loon, abner, rayner, zairy, sereen & Yen Fai, KKChong & wife, also to my close friends, masfirah, ninie, elly, saiful azmi, wan nadia, sharlyn, linda and my bFF, ROSMANJA, FAHERYNA, NORZARINA!!! (teringat time kite berinai ramai-ramai malam tu...rugi tak amik gambar kan... **sob sob**)

cool bosses

Also, I would like to say thank you so much for all of your thoughtful wedding presents. Appreciate it alot!!.. Best gila bukak hadiah yang banyak giler ok... :)paling banyak dalam sejarah hidupku... hehe... Thank you, thank you, thank you so much...............

Love,

Dina Wahid

My Life Would Suck Without You

By Kelly Clarkson.

Guess this means you're sorry
You're standing at my door
Guess this means you take back
All you said before
Like how much you wanted
Anyone but me
Said you'd never come back
But here you are again

'Cause we belong together now, yeah
Forever united here somehow, yeah
You got a piece of me
And honestly,
My life (my life) would suck (would suck) without you

Maybe I was stupid for telling you goodbye
Maybe I was wrong for tryin' to pick a fight
I know that I've got issues
But you're pretty messed up too
Either way, I found out I'm nothing without you

'Cause we belong together now, yeah
Forever united here somehow, yeah
You got a piece of me
And honestly,
My life (my life) would suck (would suck) without you

Being with you
Is so dysfunctional
I really shouldn't miss you
But I can’t let you go
Oh yeah

'Cause we belong together now, yeah
Forever united here somehow, yeah
You got a piece of me
And honestly,
My life (my life) would suck (would suck) without you

'Cause we belong together now, yeah
Forever united here somehow, yeah
You got a piece of me
And honestly,
My life (my life) would suck (would suck) without you

Quarrel to a better life, not to the worse.

Have you guys always quarrel with ur loved ones? I find that most couples who say they are in love, quarrel frequently. Well, to me sometimes quarreling is a ways to ask for attention, or to share some emotion.
Quarreling or BIG fight cannot be avoided in relationship, and all we want is to MAKE this relationship stronger everytime we had a fight with our loved ones. If life were to be so smooth for us, we wouldn’t have grown and learn to truly appreciate it. The same goes for love. If a relationship is ever so sweet and smooth, we wouldn’t have learn to really appreciate and cherish the love.
Quareling is actually means that the both have developed another step further in your relationship. It is only when one is closer to you that a quarrel will then actually happen. I don’t suppose you will pick up a quarrel with your partner whom you just started dating? You be just trying all out to please him or her instead, wouldn’t you?
But do however treat each and every quarrel SERIOUSLY, especially when the both of you have just started. This is the time for you and your partner to further understand each other more deeply, the time for you to reflect on yourself and honestly think about the relationship. This is the time for the relationship to be tested. A test of your love for one another, whether this relationship is strong enough to withstand any thunderstorm there may be or....
I believed nobody wanted any quarrel. If you are at fault, please don’t be too ego, you jolly well apologize and seek for your partner’s forgiveness.
Remember, love is a two-way communication. It takes two happy persons, a happy you and your love to complete the equation.
To my darling Razi, Im sorry for yesterday's incident! Love u as always....

Oh well, this is part of my KPIs

Another activity organized by KKMEPS. Watch a movie together with my fellow colleagues. So last weekend, I have spent with them watching 'Race to Witch Mountain' starring Dwayne Johnson (The Rock). It was a fun movie to watch. I went with Ira to Cineleisure, Damansara. We reached there about 10am. There's a lot of MEPS members queueing at the counter to register. Some of them bring along their family members. The movie started at 10.30 am. In the cinema hall, Risal already booked a perfect place for us. The last row of course. :)

At the beginning, I tot of just skip this activity, but since we're told that it will contribute a small percentage of our KPIs, I joined. Some more the tickets and food are all sponsored. ;-p
After the movie, we went to mamak restaurant for lunch.

Later that nite, I lepak at Razi's house and when dinner time, me and his family went to Kajang to eat Satay....

First day at MEPS

Today is officially my first day at . I was so excited and nervous. I showed up at 8.30am. Before that I dropped by @ Dunkin Donut for breakfast. Dunkin Donut is on the same building where i work.
I waited till 9am for the HR in charge (which turned to be Ms Fahrul) at the meeting room. She introduced herself and passed me the access pass, stationary tools and few documents and forms to be filled. Memang byk betul la form kene isi...

And now time to 'control ayu'...

After done with the forms, she brought me in, to all department and introduced me to all the staff from all levels. Thank god, almost all the staff there are friendly. We smiled and greeted one another.
When it comes to my department unit so called the 'IT operations' dept, I was introduced to En Affendi, the HOD and Hj Zahari, the IT Manager (the one who interviewed me)... Both of them looked very open and approachable. Later, my team mate showed me the location of my cubicle.
Well, everything was pretty fine on my first day with MEPS. It wasn't so scary. . There's alot of fresh enery in the office. My new colleagues are friendly that didnt really make me feel so lonely at a stranger place. My tasks soon will be something new and challenging. There's always something to do...which that is the best part i think.... Anyway, I hope its a sign of a good start. I just have to work harder..
That's it...I survived!!! hooorrraayyyyy!!!

What To Get Your Brother For His Birthday ...

15th March 2009
Today is Danial's birthday! He's my youngest brother who is now almost 5ft tall. He's turning 10 this year. And since its a school holiday, my parent and I have decided to celebrate his Birthday in KL.. So, while waiting for them to reached KL from Kuantan, I went to KLCC with Razi and browsed around the shops to look for a good present for this chubby cutie boy.

Initally, I really have no idea what to get for Danial, but since this boy always had an interest in sciences, me and Razi tot of getting him something on a fun educational and science thingy. We went to PetroSains Gift Shop where there's a lot of souveniers and science kits gifts. We finally decided to buy him a solar energy science kit. It is designed to explore and learn about the abundant power of solar energy.
It was really worth buying here. Highly recommended if you wish to buy a gift especially for 'curious type' kids.

The party started around 8.30pm. Atok, cu and pakcu also joined the party. Happy Birthday DANIAL!!!!
We love you...

Matta Fair 2009

Went to Matta Fair with Razi and spent almost 4 hours there in PWTC. The crowd was super crazyyyy and we took almost 20 minutes of queuing time just for registration. Our objective to Matta Fair today was to look for a good deals and attractive packages for honeymoon vacations. We went browsing around booth by booth and some of the travel agencies were really offering a pretty nice promotions packages. We collected a lot of brochures but unfortunately, for this Matta Fair, both of us did not get the things we wanted and dint really find any good deal for trip to China / Europe. In fact for the price for Air fares to Bali it self was even more expensive compared if we make online booking @ air asia. However for the package 'free and easy' tour are quite attractive. I saw a promotion of rm99 for 3days 2 nite@ phuket.
After a long walking, we stop at one booth and there was a sales boy asking me to fill up a form. He said he will give me away a free stay voucher for 3D 2N if i can spend 40minutes time to listen to his talk. So while waiting for Razi at the Gents, i sat down and listen to his lecture. I know it will be a very boring but since Im in a good mood, I just decided to entertain him (plus he's from Kuantan..hehe). I gave him a chance to practise and show his selling skills. Right after he finished talking, i said 'Sorry adik, Im not interested. Please give me my voucher.' I felt guilty when he started making sad face. I looked at Razi and I know he's not happy with me too. Heh...
Well, that's all for today and thats it... we're going to Bali for honeymoon!

p/s: wat a nice walking exercise today, kan razi!... :p

RAHSIA Bistro ... shyyyy

Just got back from a romantic dinner with my darling Razi. I could not believe that Razi had planned a romantic dinner at Rahsia Restaurant, KL which is located just 1 km away from my office. We were celebrating our belated anniversary and what makes it so sweet was that Razi planned it all, from the venue and everything. It was funny at the beginning, as I kept on asking him where're we goin be'beh? and he replied the same thing 'RAHSIA'. I never tot it could be a restaurant until we reached the place and then he said 'See, I told you its RAHSIA'. and yeah i saw the 'Rahsia Restaurant' signboard next to the car park. heh..
Anyway, talking bout the food...it was 'marvellous', starting from the appetizers, main courses and desserts. We started out by ordering fried calimari and duck salad. For the main course, we ordered Secret Duck and Kaffir Salmon. And lastly, we had our fruit-based dessert called 'Crumble', a homemade traditional crumble with apple and served with vanilla ice cream & cinnamon sauce. So yummmyyyy..(as pic below)

Crumble

All in all, I feel so special tonite...(Plus, malam nie Razi hisap 2 batang rokok sahaja..so happyyy)..Thank you so much darling for treating me sooooo sooo good ..You're the best sayang... :) love you.... The food, services, places, are all good. Very privacy and whats important a very romantic place you can spend with your loved ones.

Resigning is never easy

Burukla plak time nie.. :(
Tomorrow is my last day working with Dynafront. It has been already 2 years working here. I love my job here, the people i worked, food, but guess, it is just about time to move on and make a change. At the beginning, i was feeling so bad to tell them that im leaving. It took me a week to get prepare the words and plucked up the courage to tell my boss.Since my boss is at the client side, i simply called her thru the phone and said to her that i needed to tell something to her. she called me a few minutes later and i started explained my entire situation. She sounded a bit shocked but end of the conversation she seemed to be completed understood. I passed the formal resignation letter to the HR in charge, and that's it! I felt so much better after talking to her. I mentioned in the letter of 1 month notice. A week after that, i called my boss and request to leave earlier since I have completed my part of assignments. She approved it and here i am preparing the hand over to my team members. Sin Yee and Chang Hui... ALL the BEst to you guys...

Looking back, resigning is no big deal. Its about your life in making a career choice that is right for you. No need to be afraid or guilty.

To Munira @ Dynafront, Congrates and all the Best tuk kerja baru tu nanti!!

Resign Gracefully

Kursus Kahwin

Last weekend (07 March 2009), me and Razi attended the Pre-matrimony Course at Pusat Kursus Kahwin BTS (Bandar Tasik Selatan) MANAGEMENT. Actually we have planned for quite some time after Razi came back from Aussie, but time passed so fast that it all felt like a 'sudden' action. To rose, saya minta maaf sekali lagi la kay sebab tak dapat nak buat sama2 (time awak balik kampung)... Saya kalau nak tunggu Razi free, mmg susah skit la maklum la Razi kan keje shift. :) Tak kan nak pergi sendiri tak syok ah kan... awak sure nak buat dgn john gak kan... to Ryna plak, yes i would advice you to go with your future husband someday in future. Lebih afdal sbb dua2 pihak dpt dgr and dpt belajar sama2.
Anyhow, alhamdullillah the course was all completed and done. There were numbers of facilitators from JAWI, JAIS, IJN. We have been stressed out few topics. Some on marriage procedures in Malaysia, health management, and the basis and foundation of Islam and a marriage.
We cant stop laughing and it wasnt boring at all. This 2 days course has made my goal become much clearer and taught me on how to be a good wife, a good mother soon. INSYALLAH :) And as for the food, it was suprisingly good, kan Razi? (Sebab lapar kot..)
Overall, it was a very positive experience for me and Razi. Im so happy to have a fiancee who loves me, cares bout me, and accept me for who i am. No words to express how grateful I am. Thank you Allah... We hope for more positive things to happen before and after our marriage. INSYALLAH.... amin...
