Real Kids Putrajaya will cease operating?

This morning as usual, send ZD to her school, carry her backpack, walk her into her class, and suddenly, Pn Shabeena, her principle approached me. I was shocked when she informed that the school will end operation by end of May. Which means next month! 

What? Next month?

 

I don't really care about their reason but I am very frustrated and unhappy to know that ZD will have to go to another new school. New school means new friends, new environment, and that would be like a very scary story to her!
Owh well...what to do...had just informed the news to my hubby. Guess its time for ZD-new-school-hunting this week.

All in all, I am quite happy with ZD's progress so far at Real Kids Putrajaya walaupun quite costly. ZD pun happy with her school, banyak kawan and teacher semua dari support staff sampai principal semua baik-baik. Her social skills getting better, speech Alhamdulillah much better sekarang and she is adapting well with whatever situation she's in. Now Im sure this news will also make her feel sad!

Blow the cobwebs away

Went for an interview this morning and realized that this blog has been dormant for some years... and has been gathering dust and cobwebs....haha
Oh well, I've just been so busy being the perfect mom & wife that I haven't had time for an update...
haha... crack myself up.

ZD is turning 4 this July and ZS is 10 months soon.

Time flies and I realised other than the daily posting pics to my family of them, I don't write down the feelings and anguish and all the craziness in between - for memories.

I'm in love with jEdit

Well I can say almost everyday in office I will seat and look at transaction logs. Sounded very boring, but trust me, I loved looking at those logs, especially when it comes to trouble shooting or looking for the root cause of a bug. Its not really my job scope, but I just loved doing it... hehe.. When something wrong with the application, I will be staring at the monitor, sit n pushing my chair to get closer to the desk..(its not because im thin :p, but its just how i stayed focus..(weird me, huh!).. I typically use putty and do unix command to see the log, but recently a friend of mine, Tan Kee Beng recommended me jEdit. Erm...I think i have started to love jEdit. jEdit is a GUI text editor. It is not a replacement for using vi on the command line to edit a configuration file on a remote server. It does serve well in handling many files simultaneously with visual feedback and with the benefits of a GUI interface. To put it another way, I use vi or jEdit depending on the need.

Btw, installation is fairly easy. You just go to the download page and grab the installer jar. I love it's flexibility for editing numerous code types and it's support for multiple codes in the same file, additionally the ability to find/replace throughout entire directories is also great Currently, I use jEdit to effectively "tail" log files that are active and changing periodically while editing other files. So lets turn to jEdit! hehe

Went to farid's house last night @bangi. Since razi not joining, i bring my maid (in case zara buat hal...hehe). Zara was sooo excited to see baby Emir. She kissed him, she hold his hand, she kissed him again and she follows Emir everywhere..... hmm...nak adik ke Zara? nanti mama n papa usahakan kay..hehehe

Just bought a stroller for zara. Initially our plan was to go to cosway and buy some stuffs there. However, we suddenly been enthralled by the Branded Stroller Sale at Modern's Mum. They're offering up to 70% discount. Erm, since we all dah malas nak fikir pasal scroller lagi, we just angkut je la satu. Orange one, brand COMBI. Quite cheap. Only rm599. Actually i loved stroller with 3 wheels, tapi macam lari budget pulak.. Next time je laa... okay Zara? hehe...

Kenduri Akikah Zara Delisha

Alhamdulillah, kenduri aqiqah for Zara Delisha went smoothly today. We had a small kenduri for this lil' princess at Surau Al-Mutmainnah, Taman Pandan Perdana, Shamelin, Ampang. The kenduri started at 11.30am. We invited family members, close relatives and few close friends. Thanks to all who came and thanks so much for the lovely gifts and angpau.
After the kenduri, we (my mom, farid, zara and I) drove back to Kuantan. Will be spending my confinement period at my Kampung Kuantan. Heap, heap horray!!! Balik kampungg....

My baby vs jaundice,..

Syukur alhamdulillah, baby Zara has already recovered from jaundice. She got jaundice on the third day after birth. At first, we were told by the nurse from the Klinik Kesihatan that it's only mild. She then requested me and Razi to bring Zara for blood test. It was suprised that the reading is quite high that is 13. The symptoms:
♥ She sleeps alot and really hard to wake up to feed
♥ She refuses breastfeeding or bottle feeding
♥ She is sleepy all the time
♥ Her skin and eyeballs turning to yellow colour

The nurse then told me that the only solution is to breastfeed more frequently. It makes me feel more stressful. What if I cannot breastfeed my baby? I don't want my little one to suffer from this, but I don't know what to do. My baby keeps on rejecting my breastmilk. My colostrum, it seemed not enough, and I was totally fatigue.
So, as alternative Razi bought her formula milk 'ENFALAC' temporarily to get her blood counts back to normal.

Well, some say that most jaundice is not harmful to babies, in fact most babies are born with jaundice. However, looking at Zara case, it was like nightmares. She really looks sick and weak!
So, what I did to reduce the reading:
♥ Make sure that my baby get plenty fluid. To me it doesnt matter whether its breastmilk or formula, just dont let them become dehydrated.
♥ Take her to sunlight

If the babies' poo is yellow, its a good thing. The bilirubin is coming out.
Well, it was a rough time for me and Razi, but now we're super happy that Zara is recovering and ready for her Kenduri Akikah tomorrow. Her latest reading is 8

The arrival of my lil' princess..

It was friday nite of August 16, me and Razi had invited my parent, atok peah, pak leman and wife, maklong and pak long from JB for dinner. They were surprised to see my look and my big bump, at the same time they also couldn’t wait any longer for this baby to come out. Same goes for me and Razi. :) Well, Razi has helped me alot in the process. He has became my personal training coach few weeks back. We've been jogged (bukan berlari la, just jalan laju2) alot after work. Its not fun at all as i really hate 'JOGGING', but since its good for me and the baby,...I pushed myself to love it.

So that nite, after finished family dinner, I suddenly felt the pain. It feels exactly like period pain. Atok peah helped to calm me down by doing some jampi over my head down to my tummy. Unfortunately, few minutes later, the pain getting worst. Maybe its what it called as braxton hicks contractions, I thought.

I barely got any sleep that night. I just watched Razi sleeping, and hug him as though as it was my last nite."Is this real thing?" I started to feel terrified and nervous. I kept on reciting ayatul kursi. And the next day, after subuh prayer, I felt very, very uncomfortable with my tummy. Constantly hurting, and its like a strange stomach pain. I checked my panty, and there it goes.... DARAH!!!...Ooohhh Mmyyy God!!! guess its just about time.... am i ready? errrr gosh... I took a deep breath and waked razi up.
"Awwak, saya rase saya dah nak beranak la! Dah keluar darah ni"
Razi quickly get out of the bed. He looked panic, but at the same time he tried to calm me down. He then grabbed baby's beg and mine and off we rushed to Putrajaya Hospital. Before that, me sempat jugaklah minta ampun dengan parent, atok peah, smua. My mom cried, guess she's nervous too. Ya Allah, slamat kan hamba mu dan baby dalam kandunganku ini. Amin

So, the next day on 17th July 2010
7.00am - reached Wad Bersalin @ Hospital Putrajaya.
7.30am - checked urine, checked weight (i was 71kg), checked for dilation (already 2.5 cm)
8.30am - monitor baby's heart beat and movement using CTG (this is the most boring part)
10.30am - went for breakfast with razi and fakhry and this is when the constractions begins and totally changed my mood. Very SAKIT! :(
11.45am - admitted at wad 5 room 12
4.00pm - 4 cm dilated and was sent to labor room
10.15pm - ZARA DELISHA is out!! fuh, finally :)

and YES, i dint take the epidural! (the reason is because it was weekend - no working hour). As bad as it hurt I just grinned. But without my Razi support, i wouldnt be that strong. Almost 7 hours tu dalam labor room... I love u darling, U're just the best husband in the world!!! Thank you for always being there for me.

So my advice to mums-to-be, if u started feeling pain or uncomfortable with your tummy non-stop, it might be the sign. Plus, banyak2 la berjalan. I think it really, really helps!

As for me, overall, it was a wonderful experience, scared of course, but it was joy afterwards, Alhamdulillah, all went well...and what's important zara delisha is very healthy and beautiful. What a miracle! God bless us all...

MY WAY

Couldn't wait until the delivery day! How will it be?

Woww... It's been a while since my last blog post. I'm 9 months pregnant now. Just got back from medical check up with Dr Hamidah, my lovely and beautiful O&G specialist in Putrajaya Hospital. Today my darling Razi accompany me, so tak de la boring sangat. We played soduku while waiting our turn.
After few hours, then my name is called. ( luckily i have already had my lunch).
After greeting each other, she asked me to lie on the bed. She checked my cervix, and told me that it still wasn't dilated. Erm...bila lah nak bukak nie..

We also had a discussion on whats my plan for pain management during labor, whether im going to take epidural or not soon. After attending the prenatal classes, Im definitely go for epidural. hehe... In putrajaya hospital, the epidural is only available during office hour, so the doctor has adviced if i wished to take epidural, she asked me to pray not to get labor after office hour. Mengarut jugak lah dengar... I mean, how can we tell when labor begins.
Me and hubby keep a straight face for a second, and i suddenly started to imagine im squatting and screaming all the way down in the labor room. Well, different people have different pain thresholds. I just cant imagine what pain I will experience because it's a pain that we just can't localize. Ya Allah, may you help me go thru all this. Amin.

anyway, here's some info I got from the internet about the epidural.

* Epidural is often the most popular form of pain relief for labor, are given through a catheter into your spine. This deadens the nerves, temporarily, from your waist down to your toes.
o Pros: You will be alert and awake during the labor. An epidural will not make you feel tired or groggy. The effectiveness of an epidural is very good. Most times, it works quite well and eliminates all the pain you were feeling.
o Cons: You will probably not be able to move your body from your hips down to your toes, which can leave you quite uncomfortable and frustrated if you are in for a long labor. There is a risk from the anesthesia for both mother and baby, although very small. The mom could experience a drop in blood pressure. An epidural may lead to fetal distress, fetal malposition, increase the use of forceps or vacuum extraction, episiotomy, and perhaps incur a C-section.

And here's the update of my check up.
Baby weight = 3.4 kg
My weight = 70 kg
Blood Pressure = 124/77
Baby movement = good
Mother's condition = good

According to my gynae, I will be due on 16 July... so 13 more days to go! Wish me luck guys

My Suprise Birthday Party :)

Today, my darling razi threw me a suprised birthday party. It was very sweet because Razi also arranged with my family and my best friends to celebrate with me. So before the party started,
Razi asked me where to eat for dinner. I said, up to you!.. then he suggested, Lake Club House, ok? I just nodded. I was quite tired actually today as I have spent the whole day outing with my girlfriends.

As we reached there at Lake Club House, I started wondering why razi parked his car so far from the restaurant. He knows that I dont like to walk.. hmm..then i asked him,
Me : why park so far?
Razi : Saje, nak awak exercise
Me : Buat muka tak puas hati

And suddenly I saw a car in front of me. Its very familiar. Then I asked Razi again. Er, ingat tak no flat kereta baru pak cu? and razi said no... hmmm

So we walked into the restaurant, holding hands.. and suddenly SUPRISE!!!!! my family, cu and pakcu are all there waiting for me!!! (my malu2 mood changed immediately).

I thanked them for coming and we all take a seat and start making order. Then I saw ada dua kerusi kosong. Siapa tak datang lagi?
Cu said, my cousins. They stucked in jem. Hmmm...ok ramainya malam nie...terharu sangat!!! hehe
Then in 10 minutes later, my girlfriend Ros and Zarina walked in to the restaurant. Ya allah suprise lagi!!! Everything was planned!! Rase macam 'PANGGILAN HANGETTTT' je... and everyone laughed at my blur face.... anyway, I am so grateful, thankful and happy tonight!!! I love all of you... you guys really make my day!! muahhhhhh..
